The Rockford Fire Department has proudly served the City of Rockford, City of Greenfield, and Rockford Township since 1948. Our dedicated volunteer firefighters and rescue personnel respond to fires, medical emergencies, water rescues, and more — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We are proud to announce that our department has taken delivery of our brand new **Command 11** — and she is ready to serve our community!![]()

Command 11 is our officer duty vehicle, and it plays a vital role in everything we do — both on the emergency scene and behind the scenes. Here's what this unit means for our department and the people we protect:![]()

🔴 **Incident Command** — When the tones go out, Command 11 is first on scene, putting our officer in position to size up the situation, establish command, and coordinate our crews and resources for the safest, most effective response possible.![]()

🏠 **Pre-Plans & Inspections** — Command 11 isn't just for emergencies. Our officers use it to conduct building inspections and develop pre-incident plans throughout our community. Knowing the layout, hazards, and access points of buildings *before* an emergency saves lives — yours and ours.![]()

📋 **Administrative & Duty Response** — As our officer duty vehicle, Command 11 keeps leadership mobile, connected, and ready to respond at a moment's notice — day or night.![]()
